Researcher
Cristina Padró is an Adjunct Professor of the National University of Litoral (UNL) at the School of Chemical Engineering (FIQ) and Member of the CONICET's Research Staff at the Institute of Research on Catalysis and Petrochemistry (INCAPE), Santa Fe, Argentina. She graduated as a Chemical Engineer (UNL, 1990) and then she received her PhD degree in Chemical Engineering from the same University in 1996. She was a Visiting Researcher Chemical Engineering Department of University of Oklahoma, Norman, OK. USA during 1996-1997. She worked in Dr. Daniel Resasco´s group. Her current research interests include applications of solid acid catalysts and development of novel catalytic materials for the synthesis of fine chemicals and the valorization of bioresources of biomass-derived resources by environmentally friendly processes.
